10 Facts About Iran-Israel War the Western Media Won’t Report
During the invasion of Israel against Iran, the Western media is quick to report that Tehran is being evacuated, but conveniently omits the fact that Tel Aviv is also being emptied.
Here are 10 interesting facts about the hypocrisy of Western media
1. It loudly declares that Iran is trying to build a nuclear bomb, but says nothing about the fact that Israel already possesses nuclear weapons.
2. It warns that Iran is a threat to Israel, but fails to mention that Israel is a threat to the entire Middle East.
3. Western media criticizes Iran for not engaging meaningfully with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), but it fails to acknowledge that Iran’s nuclear facilities have been regularly inspected by the IAEA, while Israel has never allowed a single visit to its nuclear sites.
4. The narrative paints Iran as an irresponsible state, but omits that Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) — while Israel has refused to sign it to this day.
5. It calls Iran a threat to global peace, yet fails to mention that Iran has never occupied another nation’s territory, whereas Israel remains in illegal occupation of lands belonging to all its neighbors, most notably Palestine — including Jerusalem, a city the United Nations has repeatedly declared as under illegal occupation.
6. Protests against the Iranian government receive wall-to-wall coverage, but massive demonstrations in support of the Iranian leadership and against Israel are ignored. Likewise, the anti-Netanyahu protests in Israel are barely analyzed through the lens of “regime change,” a framework Western media so readily applies elsewhere.
7. When it comes to illegal Israeli settlers encroaching on Palestinian lands, even in blatant violation of UN laws, Western outlets refrain from calling them “occupiers” or “usurpers” — instead, they’re politely referred to as “settlers.”
8. Israeli civilians directly involved in the massacres of Palestinians are not labeled terrorists, but are softened with terms like “vigilantes.”
9. The media meticulously details which Iranian sites were struck by Israel, but goes silent on Iran’s own retaliatory targets, including:
- The headquarters of Mossad’s Unit 2800
- Israeli General Staff Headquarters
- Ministry of Defense
- A biological weapons facility
- The Nuvatim Airbase
- Ramat David Airfield
- And even the destruction of Haifa’s oil refinery

Despite all this, Western media still presents itself as reliable and credible.
