Daily morning exercise can play an important role in weight control, says new research

A new study suggests that daily morning exercises between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. can play an important role in weight control.

Although there has been disagreement among experts about the time useful for daily morning exercises, new research has found that the time to start the day is the best time to increase the relationship between moderate to vigorous exercise and obesity.

In the study, researchers examined 5,285 people. They were divided the exercise groups in the morning, afternoon and evening. There were 642 people aged 10 to 13 in the morning group. This group was younger than the other two groups.

The results showed that people who met the physical activity guidelines (150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity) in the morning had lower body mass index and waist measurements than members of other groups.

According to Tongyu Ma, assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences at The University of Hong Kong, this research provides a new way to examine daily physical exercise and assess its effects on health.

In the study, people who carried out daily morning exercises also reported a healthier diet and less calorie consumption than those who exercised in the later part of the day.

According to the results, the people doing daily morning exercises spent more time sitting or lying down than other people. But it also came to the notice of experts that despite all this, the mass index and waist measurement of the lower body of these people remained intact.
